VEGAS, WPPI AND JASMINE STAR!!!!!!!!

Wow, it what has been an incredible year already, I am so excited to be going to WPPI ( Wedding and Portrait Photographers International conference) to be held in Las Vegas this month! A chance to see some of the world's best at speaking engagements, classes and  parties, among a trade show of all the coolest services and products for photographers! I am also so fortunate to have been chosen as one of the ever so fortunate ones to be shooting with the fabulous Jasmine Star! Can't wait to tell you all about it! I will return on Friday, February 20!!!!!

Th Wonderful Wedding Show

Off to the Wonderful Wedding Show for the weekend, so please stop by and see me! I am located at S1 on the second floor! I look forward to meeting all the new brides and grooms of 2009 and 2010!! See you there!!

KALEIGH AND GRAHAM 10.01.09

 

Last Saturday was the wedding of Kaleigh and Graham, and was such an incredibly beautiful and perfect celebration to start 2009! Both bride and groom looked absolutely stunning! So much in fact, you just may see the groom grace the runway at this weekend's upcoming Wonderful Wedding Show in which he was asked to participate in based on his handsome appeal and charm every bride loves to see in their groom!! (Sorry Graham!!!!) Kaleigh and Graham's wedding was over the top, thanks to the amazing co-ordination of Madeline of Madeline's Weddings, whom I had the pleasure of working with. The ceremony and reception were both held at The Gates on Roblin who worked with Madeline in providing the finest venue and an incredibly delicious dinner!

 

Kaleigh and her bridesmaid's were gorgeous with make-up done by the artists of Buttercup Beauty Bar.

The morning getting ready was spent at the fabulous Fort Garry Hotel, a perfect venue for photos.

SUSAN AND JONATHON 12.31.08

I spent a wonderful day with Susan and Jonathon on New Year's Eve, and what was my last wedding of 2008 was definately one of my favourites! Though arctic temperatures soared throughout the day, the couple had an absolutely gorgeous wedding in which Susan had done mostly herself in it's fabulous details and decor! (She's apparently an avid fan of Martha Stewart and may just be an upcoming wedding planner!) I could make a post for that alone, but had to show a few of my favourites!! Photos were shot at the spectacular Millenium Centre. What an incredible venue ! Susan looked absolutely gorgeous! (Of course 'Uggs' are always an added touch to any fabulous outfit!)

Jonathon looked incredibly handsome and I just have to add again how much I love the shoes he chose to wear!!

JULIA AND MAREK ENGAGED!!

WOW!!!  HELLO WINTER!!  8:25 AM. Where did I put my kids winter boots, ski pants (do they fit?).......kids, please don't get your pants wet before school........ where is the ice scraper, by the way honey, I need new tires,  the car is frozen, can't open the doors!!!!...... I love Winnipeg!  I can not believe how just last week it was so incredibly beautiful! 

So I just had to take the time to post a couple of photos from an engagement session I had recently with a couple who reside in Toronto but wanted to do a few photos while they were in town for the social of Susan (her sister) and Jonathon, whose wedding I will be shooting on New Year's Eve! Julia and Marek are such a gorgeous couple and the photos reveal how obvious the two are so happy and crazy about each other!  I look forward to seeing them again very soon!

The Perfect Fit!!

Most recently, Jess Ehlers, a Wedding Planner, who owns and operates With a Flourish  interviewed me for an article for Weddings in Winnipeg on choosing your photographer.  The conversation I had with her, really allowed me to reflect on how fortunate I am and have been with the amazing couples that have chosen me as their wedding photographer...........many thanks! Just from the images from this year (which I will start blogging about as soon as things slow down.........will they?) are such perfect examples of the chemistry that can be created when finding the right photographer for the style and images you want to portray! 

Amna and Randy had come to see me earlier on in the summer for a consultation after having met at The Wonderful Wedding Show last January, and I am so excited to be working with them for obvious reasons and their outgoing, beautiful personalities.  They are such a great example of the' perfect fit!!!'
